Okay, I got some sleep. I will keep an eye on the cat, he’s not nearly as bad as Max was when he was so sick…so, I plan on attending. Things could change at the last moment but the full effort is there.

LOL, I am waiting for two LJ friends to show up…one is running late, she was to be here between 5:30 and 6:00.
The other is to show up at 6:45 so we can find parking downtown.
Man, I am HUNGRY…I don’t think I can wait this long. 
Foxy was still in her debate when I called a while ago but plans on being in the Springs by 7:00ish. TV Time has an employee out do to the flu so he and his wife wont be able to make it.

Small Fests can be fun though.

Okay, now that I am a little more alive.
I had the best “taco salad” I think I have ever had and it was basically vegetarian. I just wasn’t in the mood for beef or chicken and the black beans were tasty in there. Yumm, I could go for another one tonight!
LadyFoxFyre is mature way beyond her years. She is sweet, kind and very intelligent. I have told her before, she’s mature beyond her years and I hope that as she ages she and I can remain friends. Oh and she’s so pretty too!
raisinbread is quite the reserved man. I had a hard time figuring him out. I hope that he made it home from the bar and wasn’t a popsicle…holy cow it was cold out last night. I’m not quite sure what he was doing but he carries a notebook with him and was quiet while writing a lot of stuff down. He’s a sweet guy though and I want to figure out more of his brain sometime.
yanceylebeef - Holy Twin Batman - is just as kind and just as much fun as Mr.Cynical who could pass as his brother! I kid you not.I haven’t checked my email to see if the pictures are there to prove this but I couldn’t get over the resemblance. He didn’t stay with us very long though, he had a bachelor party to go to in Denver, excuses, excuses.
My friend who is a Doper/LJ friend but I don’t want to reveal her name unless she’s cool with it, some issues I care not to discuss, is one hell of a lady. She stayed at my house last night and we had some fun. We even chatted it up good with the cab driver and when we got back to my place. I hope she comes back and hangs out with me soon. I think I found a great friend in her.
Sara (LJ friend) who might make an appearance here (think Doper convert) was such a sweetie. I wish she wasn’t selling her house cause we live very close to each other and she’s a freakin hoot! She has a catching smile and a personality that would charm the socks off (and pants too) of a lot of the Doper men. I wish she could have stayed though, she’s a great lady.
Anyhow, it was a good time. I very much enjoyed meeting everyone and I wish TV and his wife had been able to come. TV, maybe we can put together another SpringsFest at the end of March or early April (social plate is kind of full till then) so we can meet up. You two were missed but we had fun anyway…next time it will be more fun!
So, is it too early to plan another one?
I am so miserable at having to miss the thing. The social event of the season in Colorado Springs and I had to miss it. I was tempted to send a picture of my wife and me and have you sit it at a chair and at least the photo would have had a good time.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun too. Hopefully we can get some of the Denverites to come down and join us next time, so it’s not such a tiny social gathering and we can make total asses of ourselves in large numbers.
