Ah, yes, Star Trekkin’. My sister and I, along with my young niece & nephew (ages 5 and 8, respectively) listed to and sang this song non-stop for five hours.
Why, you ask? Because niece and nephew were leaving w/mommie and daddie (aka sis & the git) on an eight-hour trip, and I wanted the kids to have a road song they could sing. Preferably for eight hours. And it worked, I later heard.
Don’t know if there’s a connection, but nowadays, it’s sis & the ex-git (he’s still a git, but he’s an ex.)
