I discovered Star Trek Continues last year and I went in expecting to point and laugh and found myself really enjoying it. Some episodes are better than others but the attention to detail is amazing. The Kirk is spot on and some of the original characters I like. Not a huge fan of their Spock but that is a hard role to play.
It’s a tiny spoilers but I liked how this finale goes back to the original (second) pilot. That was a clever idea to bring things full circle.
I just noticed that my initial attempt to use the short form of “ST: Discovery” resulted in a smiley icon. Weird.
