But he says the shot we saw of her at the end of Season 2 is what she does immediately after she returns. So no need to read much into it. Basically what Ahsoka said when warning Ezra was to not interfere with the timeline - what happens is what happens. Effectively when we saw that scene two years ago, these events are what occurred back then.
Precisely. He doesn’t say when she returns. That shot could be a long time after the shot of Vader leaving. Hours, days, months or even years, given how Ezra has aged. Notice too that she returns to an empty, destroyed, temple. One where the dust from the explosion has settled. And Vader is nowhere in sight. If she had returned right after the explosion we would have seen Vader leaving - indeed, Vader would probably have detected her return and turned back to kill her.
I will note: Ahsoka is NOT a Jedi. She is a former Jedi. Thus she doesn’t count in the ‘the last of the Jedi, you will be’.
“Togruta had an average lifespan of 82 standard years. Those who were keenly attuned to the Force could live up to 200. At any rate, individuals past the age of 95 were considered to have reached an age worthy of veneration.”
So we could potentially see an older version of her in later movies.
Rebels 2: The Search For Ezra? Does this allow for the fan theory of Ezra being Snoke?
Sorry to mangle your quote. I can’t figure out how to include the spoiler in the quote box and still have the spoiler be hidden
Two weeks ago Disney filed four trademark applications for various merchandise related to “Star Wars: Resistance”. No official word on what that will be, but some are speculating it may be the next show.
As for the quoted fan theory, Dave Filoni (show runner of both *Rebels *and Clone Wars) has explicitly ruled that one out. But after this weeks finale, he explicitly stated both Ezra and Thrawn survived. But he doesn’t want to commit to exactly what happened, as he doesn’t want to box himself in in the event he wants to revisit their story in the future
Thrawn surviving isn’t a fan theory. He is from the Zahn novels that were set after Return of the Jedi (but I guess overwritten with the new movie trilogy). They were the first new Star Wars stories to come out in years and huge deal back in the day.
Or she spent a year or two trying to get off Malachor (remember, Maul had been trapped there a while) and keeping out of sight so that Vader didn’t find her.
