Steam on the Bay

The bay where I live is very shallow. You can walk like a quarter-mile (or more?) and only be up to your waist at high tide. At low tide it’s a wide mud flat. The tide is about halfway out (or in) right now. The air temperature is 63ºF. A light onshore breeze is blowing. And fog is forming on the exposed flats. It looks like the bay is steaming, and it’s being blown onshore where it dissipates.

It’s pretty up here.

Now is the time to go outside. It’s like the 5th sunny day we’ve had all year. The clouds have finally broken out and I’m going to brew some beer.

Sadly, I’m working. Just finished lunch. Now it’s back to the data.

I do have the back door open, though.

98 degrees here, and the trees are begging the dogs for a sprinkle.

I SO like the Summers up here! :stuck_out_tongue:

A bit north of here there are a bunch of beaches, all Atlantic. Most of them are pretty nice, but one in particular is often really misty, even on hot days. It’s eerie and beautiful at the same time.
