Stewart/Colbert Rally on the National Mall: 30 Oct 2010

2 Kings 2:23-24

Perfect Bible quote for Colbert.

So THAT’S what 42 means as the ultimate answer to all questions.

Squirrel!

EVERYTHING’S PRETTY OK

IT’S OK TO BE OK

Damnit, I’ve never regretted being on this side of the pond quite so much.

Ezekiel 23:20 is always solid:

Americans Against Americans Against Large Public Demonstrations.

Can’t we all get a bong?

This space for rent.

Angelina, I’m available for adoption!

I think we can all agree that a huge DC turnout will really wake this country up. However, some of us simply can’t make it to DC on October 30th. Here is a list of local rallies for people to attend. Please inform me of any I have missed!

kimera, I’m not on Facebook; can you PM me the New York City information?

Some of these rallies may be further along in the organizational process than others.

Well, even Frankfurt is a bit too far for me. I’m hoping some motivated, ambitious Berliners will follow suit.

I have just secured the weekend off from work. Husband and I are discussing the logistics. It’s going to have to be a budget trip, so we’ll probably be at campground somewhere. Hope it’s not rainy.

Anyone else coming?

Oprah is backing the rally on Twitter:

If Oprah’s on board then it just became a million person march.

:frowning: I’ll be in Nevada. Preparing an awsome Halloween experience for kids that will never come. I do this shit every year. :frowning:

Well, that and college football. Sanity, and all.

Well, there’s the Bill & Ted sign

Be Excellent to Each Other!

I’m thinking of dual-sided sign, with one side saying

Mello Out (In yellow, of course.)

and the other side saying

It’s Just Not that Important

Unless I see one here I like better.

"Im really quite disappointed by the lack of intelligent discourse on key issues that effect everyday American life, from both parties.

Too wordy?

I’d go with OMG! Zombies! but that’s probably just me.
