Stick-Figure Family Decals: Your Opinion

They’re worse than lame. If one car had it, it might be cute, but when it’s a trend it’s just unimaginative people jumping on the trendwagon. These are all those people who had those stupid “Baby On Board” signs a few years ago.

But they’re not as stupid as thinking they attract pedophiles

I too have never seen them with names.

I keep meaning to put one woman and forty kitty ones in my back window. Never get around to it.

Someone’s a little defensive about not having kids.

Would you settle for murderous Cthulhu-oid space aliens?

Tacky. Worse than the “MY child is an Honor Student at Whatever Elementary School”.

I too, have considered doing one with a large number of cats…I actually have 6 so that would qualify me as pretty crazy cat ladyish!
But overall I say Live and Let Live! if that’s what people want to do…have fun!

But for that to happen, wouldn’t the kids need to be right by the car? And if they’re by the car, presumably the parents would be there. I never understood the “OH NOES PEDOS” argument.

In my defense, I also selected that “they attract pedophiles” not because I think they actually do, but because there wasn’t an option to adequately describe my hatred of the damn things and so I deliberately went with an over-the-top selection.

They are extremely lame and those doing it are obviously brain dead drones of the lowest order.

I didn’t vote. The one I would have chosen is too un-pc, even for here.

I do wonder…who is the intended audience for these? Mormons? Catholics? I can’t explain why, but I’ve always had the sneaking suspicion that these are the new Jesus fish.

Just lame. Lame lame lame lame.

Useful to make sure you’ve taken care of all the witnesses.

Grandma died honey, now go cross her off the bumper sticker.

I saw one in a Walmart parking lot with a mom, dad,SEVEN kids, and various dogs and cats. Filled the whole length of their van window.

Tacky kitsch, and not in the fun way. I see the ones with the names pretty regularly, though they’re not as common as the ones without.

I still like the zombie idea . . .

how about we do one totally tacky morbid - combining both the RIP ones you see and the stick figures?

Gravestone for grandma,Stick Dad, Stick Mom, gravestone for the mistake she had taken care of, boy, girl, cat, dead cat gravestone, puppy, dead fish gravestone, and then y’know, zombies and Death.

I’ve never seen these on any sort of vehicle, and that’s after a 2500-mile vacation up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Not sure why something so uncommon and unimportant is worth 58 posts, but knock yourselves out…

Thanks for your permission!! We will!

Yeah. I never see these in San Francisco but last time I drove to LA I saw approximately 900 before I got over the Grapevine. Somehow they’ve ever dumber than the usual dumb stuff people advertise on their cars.
