Bumping this up since its Father’s Day and I didn’t get squat. They handed out cheap-ass flashlights at work. (I mean really cheap, small, plastic Magna-Light knock offs with the company logo on 'em.)
And yes, I did go see my father today.
Your tongue may be firmly in cheeck, but mine isn’t. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are stupid ideas. Everybody should just grow up and show appreciation to those they love because they want to, not because Hallmark has decreed it.
