That’s not even the best. My favorites go something like this:

Munch: Good morning, Doowen & Doowennette.
Idiot: Is Mike there?
Munch: Do you have Mike’s last name?
Idiot: My last name is Johnson.
Munch: Thank you, Mr. Johnson. Do you have Mike’s last name. We have about 20 Mikes at the firm.
Idiot: Oh. <looks at document> Ooh, I’m going to have to spell this one. S-M-I-T-H.
Munch: <thinking> You had to spell out “Smith”?!?</thinking> One moment please…

Thank god I’m only on the switchboard twice a month!

Nice. We just did 13 picks in 13 minutes. Where does that get us, NurseCarmen? (On preview… whoa… and 16 in 23. Not too bad eh?)

And Hamlet and Verbena are both getting hosed by their computer picks. I thought of something else, Munch – maybe your comment about Gannon cut a little close to home. :wink:

hee hee… had to go to work… I AM getting screwed… I wasn’t bothered by the Gannon comment… I KNOW I have “Raider Issues” I am seeking counsel… I was a bit perturbed that it was taking many HOURS to get around the horn one time… to many non-participants methinks… then I screwed myself by clicking comp. control and stepping away for a little while… things really picked after I did that!

I got a couple of good second-string runningbacks… a good starting quarterback I could’ve got at least a round later in the draft… and no WR’s at all… yep. I suck…

Man, my email just doesn’t work any more. I hate computers.

Verbena, you should have just filled in some predraft picks. The delay with the nonparticipants only has to happen once before the computer takes over. You’re not in such bad shape anyway.

Stitch has always been about stacking his team with WRs first, as long as I’ve played FF with him.

Well, I was predrafted, but the slobs in front of me took everyone who’d I’d put in for the 3.03 pick, or whatever it is. So now I have to go in and pick somebody, but I can’t get logged in. May be my home connection, so I should get this resolved soon. (I’ll be in a conf call for the next 20 - 30 minutes, but might get it done during the call if I get bored).
