I was hoping it was going to be based on Sam’s Simple with a tinge of Material.
Sam’s Simple fits most of my needs.

In a quick perusal, I like it, too. I had switched to Sam’s Simple Theme earlier today just to try it out and liked it, and noticed that the navigation scrollbar for long threads now worked perfectly (unlike the default “Light” theme I had earlier). It also works perfectly with the Straight Dope Light Theme. It may just have been a system-wide problem that has now been fixed. Things are getting better.
