String Cheese: Peel Strings, or just Bite?

I usually peel it but sometimes bite it.

Good thing I peel the stick into strings before eating. It has the bonus of feeling slightly rebellious to be unashamedly playing with my food (take that, mom!).

I roll it up in a slice of whole wheat or multi-grain bread and eat it like a hot dog with one hand while doing Sudoku puzzles with the other hand on my lunch break. Sometimes I don’t pay much attention to what I’m eating. I mostly eat low fat cheese anyway; I’d probably pay more attention if it was the really good kind of cheese.

Behold, someone who understands the chief appeal of string cheese: convenient sustenance. :wink:

Biting into the stick without pulling it into strings is as strange as eating a Kit-Kat like a regular candy bar.
