Okay, I just might have won my own thread.
I’m kind of old-fashioned. I actually like to mow my own lawn. And given the weather issues lately, it hasn’t been mown for a while and the grass had gotten rather long.
So I’m out there this morning, mowing away. I stop to dump the grass catcher bag when I was confronted by a woman who was out jogging and who crossed the street to berate me. Why, you might ask? Well, according to her, I’m polluting the living hell out of the environment with the fumes from my lawnmower. She went on and on about how she could smell it and how she didn’t appreciated having to breathe the fumes and what an “insensitive jerk” I was to the needs of the planet and the people around me, and more typical liberal treehugger BS.
I started laughing at her and couldn’t stop. She got even more upset, to the point where she yelled, and I quote: “It’s not funny, you sorry asshole. You’re killing other people and you don’t even care!”
Here’s her offended little ass jogging away from me. I’m just sorry that I don’t have a video of her tirade to share, but I couldn’t get to the phone quick enough.
Now, the reason I say I win is that stupidity of this magnitude can only be marveled at. You just can’t make up stuff like this; all you can do is cherish it for the absolute moronic stupidity that it is.
All the while that she was yelling at me about polluting the world and killing people, this is what she was looking at.
