When you call it a Cuban victory, that’s celebrating it, plus they both have a history of cozying up to Castro.
Moore celebrated Cuba’s health care system as well, part of which involved putting AIDS sufferers in sanitariums.

Hawaii is a foreign country?
The social acceptance of casual anti-semitism in the US has dropped MASSIVELY in the past 50 years or so. What reason is there to think that it has now leveled off at some stable level? I’m sure that cynical Irish people 140 years ago talked about how of course there was always going to be anti-Irish racism in US society…
Recent events might indicate that “the worst thing a black man has to worry about is” being murdered by the cops.
adaher only developed between ages 6-10, the period of Obama’s life spent in Indonesia.
So anyone who ever says something like “that little political skirmish ended up with a clear victory for Russia” is celebrating the Putin regime? That is pretty far removed from how most people use the word.
It’s important to distinguish between racism that is directed primarily from one race to another, and racism that comes even from your own race. When black women clutch their purse close or go to the other side of the street, then the problem isn’t race, per se. And likewise, most of the anti-semetism that an average Jew will encounter is shit we say to each other all the time.
I’m celebrating the decision too. It was great progress for the American people, and great progress for the Cuban people. I think it’s bad news for the Castros, in the long run.
So what?
We appear to live on different planets. This is some prime incoherence.
Birther Bullshit.
More Birther Bullshit
That it didn’t should tell you something right there.
Then name me a white presidential candidate who ever had to go through this, and still had people raving after all the hoops were jumped through. Including those candidates and Presidents actually born outside of this country. Should be easy for you.
No, that was his literary agent who said he was Kenyan.

Shodan
(new emphasis mine)
(emphasis mine again) It’s amazing how badly one person can miss the point in such a simple post.
Like trickle down economics?
No, it’s worse that that. The fake Birther story said he claimed to be Indonesian. You said he claimed to be Kenyan.
So your “factual knowledge” goes even beyond the fake stuff that right-wing kooks put out. You not only accept their bullshit without checking it, you process it in your mind to synthesize it with other bullshit, until you have some kind of super-bullshit.
Doesn’t that make you the least bit curious about what else you “know” that is complete bullshit?
ETA: but kudos for finally checking on the story, five+ years after it came out.
Too late to include this in my previous post, but the Snopes article on Obama’s Indonesian scholarship is instructive. Anyone wishing to check the story prior to the LA times article Adaher cited (and who didn’t notice that the fake article was dated April 1) would have easily found out that
there was no such headline story in the Daily Mail
there was no such organization as “Americans for Freedom of Information”
there are no Fulbright scholarships for foreign undergraduates
All of that would have been very easy to Google. It might have taken a bit more time to learn that Occidental College has no record of a student named Barry Soetero, or of a court order ordering the release of his (or Obama’s) records.
God damn this five minute edit window. But…
To be fair to Adaher, he did get one thing right — he implied that Obama’s college application “scandal” was analogous to Elizabeth Warren’s, and that’s correct. They’re both bogus, right-wing bullshit.
How long do we have to wait for adaher to compost a response?
I see what you did there…
You get fooled by every kind of right-wing bullshit - Fox News, Breitbart, Hannity, etc., etc. You come here and spout it out daily, only to be proven wrong time and time again. When are you going to start holding your news sources to a higher standard? Or are you just going to be a convenient fool for the rest of your life?
I believe there is a proposal before the International System of Quantities (ISQ) to make the “adaher” the international unit of wrongness.
Most times you are wrong about something, it will be measured in “milli-adahers”
