Sorry…I don’t pay enough attention to TV news to actually know he moved networks.
I don’t either, and I actually never even heard of the guy before this, but it was right there in the linked article.
Come on, “Tyrant!” I almost got a BINGO.
Oh yeah? Well, I’ll see your “everything you just quoted”, and I’ll raise you a:
Though apparently a somewhat different dialect, as I rarely had difficulty making sense of what she was saying.
Thanks for taking the trouble of extracting the nasty twaddle that Haberdash insists on when speaking of our black President.
What is it with such contempt? Reagan was as divisive as Obama (some want him on Mt. Rushmore, others trace many of America’s problems to his poor policies), yet I don’t recall any liberal mocking hero-worship of Reagan with spiteful claptrap like we see against Obama.
I’m very sure that Haberdash is NOT a racist. I’m sure he knows that Tamir Rice would have been shot dead even if white and that the Teleprompter President would have been able to go to college (though not Harvard) without Affirmative Action. So, Haberdash, why exactly do you need the sarcastic “Messiah … Emperor … deity” ? Is it because leftists used similar diction (though they didn’t) when speaking of Presidents you admire?

Messiah … Emperor … deity …
… I am the only “objective” person in this conversation

Priceless!
Yup, no worshippers quick to jump to “racism” as the only possible reason to disagree with Obama on this board or anywhere else. Must have been something I made up.
Good point, none of the other black Presidents had any such problem.
As expected. You whine that you’re not racist, yet produce no other explanation for the tripe you pose about Obama, nor your peculiar take on a stupid reporter’s question.
…aaaand once again Haberdash velcros himself to the Cross…
Heh. You said taint.
You get it more these days (“Saint Ronnie”) than you did at the time; Reagan is revered by conservatives in hindsight like so many other things, with a rose-tinted view of the past allowed to stand in for the way things really were.
On the subject of Helen Thomas: poor Helen really should have retired about a decade earlier than she did. During the latter years of the Clinton administration she really started becoming unhinged, and then full-blown Bush Derangement Syndrome set in. A sad end to someone who had had such a brilliant and accomplished career up to then.
That isn’t mocking Reagan so much as his acolytes.
Bah, just another Thomas-worshipping fangirl.
Well, yeah, but the “emperor Obama” nonsense is mocking Obama supporters rather than Obama himself.
Granada gave us back out dignity, nothing says dignity like whopping the shit out of a tiny, helpless Caribbean nation! By the way, how’s that Granada Memorial coming along?
Not so good. Some dumbass sculptor put an “e” in it.
Reagan has a 60+% approval rating. I’m not sure how that’s “divisive”. Plus Reagan wasn’t a scold towards those who disagree with him the way Obama is. Democrats denied that he did this, at least until they became the target of his scolding when Trade Promotion Authority came up for a vote.
Reagan was reviled before he even took the White House by Californian progressive thinkers who had witnessed his behavior as their Governor. I don’t recall Bush-41 ever being so reviled; it happened to GWB-43 only after some of his severe blunders.
No, he just demonized those who couldn’t defend themselves. See Welfare Queens.
