The Haberdash quotes that Jack Batty collected are more about how wingnuts perceive how people like us view Obama, than about Obama himself. I’m surprised he didn’t toss in an ‘Obamabot’ or two, or a “The One.”
There does seem to be this bizarre belief on the right that the left side of the political spectrum is filled with knee-jerk Obama supporters whose attitude verges on worship. Apparently they (very definitely including Haberdash here) missed a metric ton of debates on the left about Obama, from upset over Obama’s lukewarm-at-best support for the public option six years ago, to lefty anger over the Trans-Pacific Partnership right now.
It’s much easier, and much more fun, to bash people when you can depersonalize them as unthinking or monolithic or having a “hive mind”. Let them enjoy it while you’re laughing at them.
Since you’re a prissy delicate flower that can’t seem to handle bluntness from a Democrat, I’ll answer for Obama since he won’t sink down to Garrett’s level:
The nuclear deal with Iran is about a thousand times more important that the lives of 4 Americans. They could be holding 40 hostages and I would celebrate and cheer at the Iran nuke deal. If those lives are forfeit, then it is worth it.
I’m sure Obama is content about the deal while giving up the relatively low cost of 4 people’s lives. I’m sure Obama didn’t think of even bringing up those 4 people one time, nor did John Kerry, or anyone else at the negotiating table. And I’m sure they’re all similarly content. And I’m positive they know that was the right decision and would do it again in a heartbeat.
And you know what else I know? Obama’s president and you can’t do anything about it! All your questions and poking by you and the extremist traitor right wing nutjobs are just sour grapes for having lost, and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! And that just kills you every day you live under the Obama dictatorship. Oh yeah, I said it, its a dictatorship, and a wonderful one, because people like you are not president! HAHAHAHAHA! :D:);)

As for Obama, this is actually a major issue for you, that Obama is a ‘scold’? You were perfectly fine with him until you heard that he scolded people for something or other, right?
From some data published earlier this year by the Pew Research center, it appears that Obama has about the same approval rating as Reagan at this point in their presidencies.
You can compare all the President’s approval rating since Eisenhower here. Obama looks to be about the middle of the road even though Republicans hate him.

Provided the Iranian government is sincere. Remember how North Korea got the bomb? Multiple rounds of talks, delays, agreements, extended deadlines and renegations that in hindsight were simply stalling until they could finish developing their bomb. If the Iranians are close enough to perfecting a nuke, they may just be buying time.
