That’s because as Grayson points out, the Democratic PArty is firmly controlled by its establishment. If guys like Alan Grayson are allowed to win primaries, that won’t last long.
It’s ironic that the sanity of a party is now judged by how far removed from the will of their voters they are.
No: the sanity of the two parties is judged by how far removed they are from the will of their most extreme voters, across the board. A party that is neither too left-leaning nor too right-leaning will have the maximum possible sanity.
Keep your eye upon the doughnut, not upon the hole.
This is the same Lynn Forester de Rothschild who, butthurt when Obama beat Clinton in 2008, became the public face of the PUMA movement and said some very incendiary things about President Obama:
She never even came around after he won as she supported Jon Huntsman in 2012.
She is a horrible, horrible person, and Hillary seems to think that having her raise money for her is worth the price of all the Sanders supporters viewing this as more grist for the mill and even the Obama supporters who recall Rothschild’s remarks against him and the acrimony between Obama and Clinton in 2008.
At a time when the Democratic party needs to be uniting, Hillary runs to one of the biggest dividers you’re likely to find, all because she happens to be a billionaire with her wallet open.
I see too many of these faker stories, although usually it’s college campuses. If this kind of hateful behavior is so common, you shouldn’t need to fake incidents.
Isn’t Whole Foods’ management libertarian? I recall a kerfuffle over the CEO’s support for the Tea Party a few years back. He might have targeted Whole Foods over that assumption.
If everything Clinton ever said about Obama is forgiven, then why not her fundraisers? Is it the actual endorsement of Republicans that puts her beyond the pale? I thought the Clinton Doctrine was that the only thing that matters is someone’s position right now, and right now Rothschild is a supporter of the Democratic nominee. So she’s a good person now.
I think it’s shitty (based on what I recall from Rothschild), unless she’s changed her views. I’m certainly fine with criticizing Hillary for it, though it’s not going to change my vote.
That one was in the other thread, and yes, it’s incredibly stupid and actually sets their cause back. If there is truly going to be a rash of attacks on females, just let it happen and say you told us so. You don’t need to create problems where there aren’t any yet.
You see fake stories like this all the time? Really? I don’t. In fact the last “faker” story I can remember was when that chick carved a backwards B in forehead and claimed it was Obama thugs who did it.
Any chance you could link to the plethora of “fakers” you generally run across?
The first one is pretty damning, despite the biased source, but the other two are a little stretchy if you ask me. It’s all a lot of, “sources say,” and things, “may have happened,” or it’s an out and out stupid prank.
At any rate, you’ve hardly posted proof of an epidemic of anything. This sort of thing of course happens; people are assholes … but it hardly rises to the level of “problem.”
Didn’t claim an epidemic, only that I read a lot of those stories and they usually take place on college campuses. Those links just came from a two second search.
