Here is what a true Stupid Liberal Idea looks like, and look, plenty of liberals agree. Lawn mower girl, nudity afficionados, and the other shit I’ve read in the last 100-150 posts…not so much.

Someone double-clutched on “stupid”. They’re all looking for stupid Stupid Liberal Ideas.
To me, a stupid liberal idea would be firing a firefighter for bringing a watermelon to work. Unless there is more back story to it that isn’t being reported.
Didn’t bring enough for everyone?
"“When you get your first detail at a firehouse, you pretty much know what you are getting yourself into,” said Engine 55 firefighter Patrick Trout. “So you would have to say it was probably a bad call.”
The fire commissioner said Pattinson was officially discharged before he officially started the job.
Pattison said it was not a joke and that he did not mean to offend anyone."
BULLSHIT.
Yes, I was thinking of cricket. As sports go, it has much broader reach than american football but is almost unknown in the US.
And now Weinstein’s wife is leaving him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2017/10/10/georgina-chapman-is-leaving-harvey-weinstein-amidst-sexual-harassment-accusations-report-says/?utm_term=.c4a0f1081b47
I know adaher was pulling for him (although perhaps not as much as Weinstein was pulling for himself - hey-oh!) but it looks like Weinstein’s life is pretty much collapsing as these terrible liberal hypocrites rush to distance themselves from a horrible person.
And the more powerful the liberal, the more time they took.
Must awful that liberals won’t behave the way you’ve always imagined them behaving.
Puts a real crimp in the ol’ false equivalency game.
If you’d read my post a little better you’d notice I was talking about what Weinstein wanted liberals to do, not what I wanted them to do. Weinstein was the stupid liberal in this thread, not liberals in general.
I’m gonna have to give his wife a little leeway to take some time to decide whether or not to dissolve their marriage. 'Cuz that’s kind of a big decision.
But, you were of the opinion that he really shouldn’t have been punished for being a serial sexual predator, right? If you didn’t think he should suffer the relatively minor consequence of losing his job, surely you think his wife leaving him is just terribly unfair and excessive, right?
It’s almost unknown in a lot of places other than the U.S.
Anyway, regard Weinstein, I’m vaguely annoyed at the crap about him seeking counseling for his “demons” etc. I’d’ve preferred honesty, i.e. “Well, there were eight hot women who turned me down, but twenty just as hot women who didn’t, so while I admit I was a jerk and a creep, you only live once, y’know?”
You still haven’t pointed out what liberalism has to do with the situation, in any way. Nor have you even tried to explain why you continued to support a known pussy-grabber.
Well, he did start off saying liberals would give him a pass, which sure would have reflected poorly on liberals. But when exactly zero liberals defended Weinstein, adaher took up the cause and defended him. See, definitely a SLIOTD!
Oh. Wait…
Strawman Liberal has been steadfast in his support for Weinstein.
But he’s an asshole, so fuck him.
What do you mean by powerful? Actors? Other show biz workers? The secret liberal cabal that seeks to destroy America?
I don’t get what you’re implying. The pussy-grabber-in-chief still has powerful supporters.
Multiple counts of blatant sexual harrassment, by two rich, ugly, old, white guys.
The “liberal” gets fired from his own company.
The “conservative” gets elected President.
Forget it, adaher, you lost this round.
That is a bold assumption. For all we know, adaher supports pussy grabbing and other form of demeaning women for pleasure. If he partakes, how could he deplore it? That would be dishonest.
A little advice for you. If you decide to lie about something, make sure it’s not something that’s written down for everyone to see.
