Stupid liberal idea of the day

Both sides do it. You guys got Trump and his top staff. We got an obscure city councilman.

You’re welcome, C’hump!

Here’s a citefor this
DC politics is why I’m against the complete elimination of the Republican party. One party rule leads to some bad places.

Why not eliminate parties altogether? Whether it’s a monopoly or a duopoly, it’s equally shitty when there’s that few hands that need to be greased to ensure your agenda always gets written into law.

I love the apology which is basically “I didn’t mean that Jews are controlling the weather! I just meant that rich people are controlling the weather! Because that’s totally a much more rational thing to say!”

He may not be anti-Semitic but he’s still a loon.

The Russians used to control the weather, but for some reason never used the technology to make their country warmer.

Too much vodka and borscht

It’s the same reason Bud Grant never allowed heaters on the Viking sidelines - makes people soft.

Plus, it was winter that defeated Napoleon.

It is disturbing to realize that liberal ideology is driven by fantastical paranoia. Someone should do something about those people.

Barack Obama to attend Beverly Hills fundraiser for Claire McCaskill.

She obviously needs money - but this is stupid because it will play into the ‘out-of-touch liberal’ narrative that Hawley will use anyway. Not so much Obama (although some of that), but the Hollywood liberal thing does not play well in the red parts of Missouri.

McCaskill is a unique case. She’s centrist, but pro-Obama even when he was down. She’s extremely likeable, a straight talker, but fighting against Missouri’s rightward tilt. Having Obama campaign for her is probably good on net. Lots of black voters to motivate in Missouri, and he probably doesn’t hurt her with swing voters.

I don’t lie. It’s easier to make libs squawk like turkeys by telling them the truth. If I do a Google search for information on something, I’ll usually take the first reference that comes up. If you don’t like the source, that is your problem, not mine.

You keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Do you also read this reference to make sure it supports the argument you are advancing and/or challenges the arguments others are advancing?

If not, I suggest you start.

No, actually, it probably is your fault. Google personalizes your searches so that if you tend to get your “information” from alternative-fact right wing echo chambers, Google will put alternative-fact right wing echo chambers will be the first reference that comes up.

And he wouldn’t want it any other way. He might exposed to ideas rather than ideologies.

Sigh.

Are you indicating that you are unaware your citations often do not support your position?

I’m going to take that as a “I have not been reading my own cites” from you, in lieu of evidence that I should not.

You don’t lie. You have, however, provided vast amounts of evidence in this thread alone that you are perfectly happy to repeat and link to lies, often with indicators that you haven’t even bothered to apply the slightest bit of critical thinking to them (or even read them). Being a vector for lies out of stubbornness, laziness or stupidity is not really an improvement over being the person who made up the lies in the first place; at least they were smart enough to know they were lying.

Lie-vector. Nice.
