The number one moron tweeting on Twitter happens to be the head of the current government (aka, administration). And that really is strange.
Sure. But because self-proclaimed liberal **zeusdick69 **also tweets dumb stuff, that means liberals are just as bad.
I don’t know how to identify the political leanings of Twitter users, but I can say with complete certainty they’re all drama queens.
Just through my quick browsing, on that twitter search there was:
- an ex-Christian (obviously liberal)
- a goth (yeah, liberal)
- a scientist (obviously liberal)
- people with senses of humor (totally liberal)
- and a bunch of randos (who knows?)
But surprisingly, no Russian bots! I guess they didn’t get the alert in St. Petersburg.
This is not a new idea.
Well, it does seem reality-based, aims to help people and society, and doesn’t appear bigoted nor sexist. So yeah, kinda.
I don’t understand this comment.
The first phrase seems to indicate that this alert could be a triggering event for a pre-existing PTSD. But the second phrase indicates that this alert was itself the traumatic event that caused them to develop PTSD. But they can’t both be true.
Also, “jarring and unexpected”? This planned alert has been covered in the news for weeks now, with the time down to the minute being given. How was it ‘unexpected’?
Perhaps not a new idea, but no one has ever actually tried it. All countries, once they decide people require a certain level of support, just tax people to provide it. What the Sanders debate shows is that American liberals are just as selfish and immature as American conservatives. If you want generosity towards the less fortunate, YOU do it. That’s how every country functions, but American liberals still believe someone else can be forced to do it for them.
Cops to this and nods my head.
You don’t understand how something could be a triggering event for someone with pre-existing PTSD while not actually causing PTSD? You’re either being disingenuous or maybe you should think about that a little more.
Also, I fully knew about the alert coming and had joked about it for days, yet when it actually occurred in my office and suddenly 20 phones were going off I felt a mild panic for a second before I realized what it was. Those things are not mutually exclusive, which I think you’re having an issue with.
Factually incorrect but we should expect nothing less form an idiot who refuses to learn after repeatedly being shown he’s wrong. I rarely just give up hope for anyone, but you…
Oh, there’s a country where employers just all pay a living wage so that there’s no welfare state except for those out of work? Show me this place. I’ll prove you wrong right now: health care. Almost all governments pay for health care, whereas we make our employers do it.
Are we talking about the Stop BEZOS act or higher minimum wage? The Stop BEZOS act is a tax to fund the government’s welfare programs. And most countries have higher minimum wage than the US.
Employers (as a group) got themselves into this mess, and for reasons I will never understand, have not enthusiastically supported government health care of some type. As an employer who spends around $15,000 per employee on heath insurance (we pay 100% of the premium, plus HSA contrubution) I would be very happy to pay more taxes for medicare for all or something similar. Why don’t companies like GM and Monsanto join me supporting this?
Because the plans involve most companies paying more than they do now. There’s know way to save employers money without charging employees more. Any single payer plan will be funded as much as possible on the backs of employers to hide the cost from voters.
These kinds of observations are why smart people here make fun of you.
Hillary Clinton jokes ‘they all look alike’ after interviewer mixes up Cory Booker and Eric Holder
Found one! This proves that Liberals are exactly the same as Conservatives who shoot up synagogues.
Er…wasn’t she mocking the interviewer for confusing the two? She didn’t make the error herself. (Forget it, Jake…it’s FoxNews…)
Reminds me of whichever interviewer it was that mixed up Lawrence Fishburne and Samuel L Jackson **while talking to Jackson **(“No, I’m the other guy!”).
I also think she was mocking the interviewer but it was either this or “Liberals want to help the poor and downtrodden, isn’t that a stupid idea??”
I felt bad for that guy. Fact was Jackson was in a commercial for Winter Soldier that Super Bowl.
