Now maybe the tone of both the question and answer was such that it more a naturally humorous situation, but Jeez, Joe, your campaign is already is some trouble, you don’t need to be handing out gratuitous insults to voters and giving your opponents any additional ammunition to question your judgement.
Not if you want to beat the real lying dog-faced non-pony soldier…
Good lord. The article says the “pony soldier” line is supposed to be a reference to an old John Wayne movie, but no one knows what movie. Way to keep your finger on the pulse of today’s culture, Joe!
In spite of his myriad flaws, I think Biden is a generally likable guy. But shit like this… man. Still, if he gets the nomination, I’m voting for him. To my knowledge he isn’t in cahoots with any foreign powers, and he probably wouldn’t set up concentration camps, so he’s better than Trump. Get it together, Joe.
So Biden is not only insulting people for no real reason, he’s sounding like Abe Simpson doing it. Now I want to ask him if he used to wear an onion on his belt and whether he plans to remove three states if elected.
What a strange thing to say, even if it is a “joke”. I’ve been to a presidential caucus and I’ve never lived in Iowa nor Nevada. Is there some “mark of the beast” that I’m sporting that is only visible to presidential candidates?
I absolutely agree. I wasn’t trying to draw an equivalence, just cataloging a stupid liberal (unconfirmed but looks that way), as this is the place for that.
The guy who drove into the Trump volunteer tent reportedly admitted to police that he did it because he didn’t like Trump. The reports I’ve seen don’t go into more detail, only saying Gregory Timm didn’t like Trump. I suppose it’s possible that Timm thinks Trump isn’t right wing enough, but I’m gonna guess he leans to the other end of the political spectrum.
At this moment in time, there is no evidence whatsoever that he leans towards any portion of the political spectrum. He did say he hates Trump though, so there’s that.
