Trump on the resignation of the UM officials:
“I think it’s disgusting,” Trump said. “I think the two people that resigned are weak, ineffective people. I think that when they resigned, they set something in motion that’s going to be a disaster for the next long period of time. How we hire people like this — Trump should have been the chancellor of that university. Believe me, there would have been no resignations.”
Not stupid, you say? Well, what if I told you that there once was a university run the way Trump wanted to run it? What if I told you that the name of that university was Trump University? And what if I told you that it was sued for fraud by the Atty Gen of New York?
So, Christie is reaching to be the Law and Order candidate, and Trump wants to snatch it away?
I’d still take the blue pill.
New NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows 2016 GOP primary voters are 92% white.

Interesting that the least crazy of the crazies (Bush) has been dropping down.
Man, I wish people would stop repeating that.
Jeb! is as bugfuck crazy as the rest of the pack. He’s just crazy in a different way.

Maybe you could say that he’s just as crazy but channels it better, like Batman vis-a-vis the Joker.
More like the Penguin vis-a-vis the Joker.
Well Fred Thompson just died so there’s an opening
House Freedom Caucus is working on their “Contract With America II”
Members of the House Freedom Caucus are preparing a “Contract With America II” that would call for House votes in the first 100 days of 2016 on replacing Obamacare, overhauling entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare, and repealing the estate tax.
An early draft of the plan obtained by Bloomberg News also calls for legislation to slash government regulations by 20 percent, cut corporate tax rates and expand offshore oil drilling. Efforts are still under way to finalize contents of the “contract,” which lawmakers say they hope will become the basis of House Republicans’ 2016 agenda. […]
Some Freedom Caucus members say the new “contract” is intended to show the group can do more than throw rocks at the Republican establishment by devising a more-positive legislative agenda.
Christie does seem more like a TV character - a sitcom character at that - than an actual politician, doesn’t he?

“slash government regulations by 20 percent”
What does that even mean?

I’m guessing 20% less words, or maybe even syllables.
That’s actually better than what he said in the same interview, that he wants a government that “sort of keeps the peace.”
That’s stupid, but the idea of a CWAII is not necessarily stupid. At least it will give them something definite to run on in 2016. Problem with it is, this is only a Tea Party platform, not an all-GOP platform.

So, if Georgia wants to go to war with Florida, they have to give the president a chance to mediate first, or something like that?
Not “with”, it is “on”. “Contract on America II”

Bring it on, GA! We will totally kick your ass and blow up the Lake Lanier dam. Bye-bye ATL.
