Stupid Republican idea of the day

Admittedly, a Democrat is involved in this, too, butit’s a Republican who’s going ballistic, because the Obama Administration has labeled an Apache holy area as a historic location, thus preventing a provision in a bill snuck into it by McCain and Flake to sell this Native American holy area to foreign mining interests.

Well, I’m glad to hear the administration stepped in after McCain and Flake sold them out. (I remember hearing about the bill before.)

I think Trump picking the UIC Pavilion for his Chicago rally, among all the venues he could have rented in the metropolitan area (hint, Trumpy: most of your supporters are probably in the suburbs) counts as a stupid Republican idea for today.

He’ll attract protestors wherever he holds his rallies, but in the heart of Chicago at the University of Illinois, on the West Side a stone’s throw from Pilsen, is practically coming to the doorstep of his deepest opposition.:dubious:

So it’s not so surprising that the rally attracted so many protestors that Trumpy had to [del]cancel[/del] postpone.

Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), proponent of Voter ID law, arrives at the polls without his ID…oops.

If Burr was early voting, why didn’t he just come back later?

This was either deliberate or the action of the dumbest mofo evah! And nobody said anything to Il Douche?

It’s probably the one day he’ll be in North Carolina this year.

Obviously, he meant a bidet.

But not as picturesque as the metaphor Al Franken used before he became a senator, when he talked about how Washington was like a clogged toilet, and how we had to break through that clog with the Log of Freedom.

You better call it Coulson, 'cause I’m starting to root for this guy.

Oklahoma’s on a run today. First the house with guns then the senate.

"OKLAHOMA CITY - After the State Senate passed a controversial bill proposing to deregulate portions of public schools on Thursday, groups on either side of the issue started a political fight that put teachers and students in the crossfire.
The bill numbered SB1187, or the School District Empowerment Act, removes 12 state standards that public schools have to follow. Those standards include having certified teachers, and paying teachers the state minimum salary. The bill also allows schools to loosen some restrictions on background checks."

If you churn out a future stupid electorate, it’s good for incumbents.

Silly me: all this time, I thought we were talking in the present tense.

Wow. Gosh. It looks like they’ve made cuts so deep that many districts are going to a four-day school week.

Okie d’ohkie…

Jesus wasn’t a Jew, and white European-Americans are God’s real Chosen People.

Says the Trumpeter who replaced David Duke at the Klan.

Texas 'Pub wants the wimmins to carry dead fetuses all the way to term, because…original sin.

Kentucky state legislator: Requiring a DNA test from a felon to see if he is a rapist is more intrusive than being raped. And he told this to a rape victim who was testifying before the committee he is on.

You can’t imagine the horror of having your cheek swabbed with a Q-tip.

ETA: but let’s keep those mandatory ultrasounds going.

I find it weird that a Republican is against requiring criminals to submit DNA samples.

The rape insensitivity, I take for granted these days.

??? When the fetus is dead, it doesn’t continue to grow or develop. There is no “full term.” (There is one recorded case of a woman carrying a dead fetus for several years.)

These guys are… Well, words fail. I could wish there were a hell, because they belong there.
