I was thinking the same thing. Either that, or she’s a William S Burroughs character come to life. Keep an eye out for any references to “mugwumps”.
Given what Palin probably gets paid for a speech at a GOP fundraising dinner, your typo (I assume) for “free verse” is very apposite.
Huh, I’ve lived in Wisconsin most of my life and am a die hard Packer fan and I’ve never seen that shirt anywhere.
But now you gotta have one, right?
My favorite comment was the name given to Palin’s babblings by a Gawker commenter: “‘The Love Song Of J. Alfred Trucknutz’, by U. S. Idiot”.
I’ll see one tomorrow at a gift shop in the MKE airport, and I’ll think of you…
Oh, one more reason to visit Wisconsin: nice airport… with an excellent used bookstore*.
*A used bookstore. In the airport. What a perfect pairing (they even had a sign: buy it, fly with it, sell it back to us").
(Sorry, I’m blathering today to cope with Scott Walker’s appointee winning the state supreme court judgeship…)
That’s awesome.
George Mason University is renaming its law school the Antonin Scalia School Of Law - whose acronym is ASSOL.
I don’t think they meant that, though.
As I point out in the “Kinki University” thread, they’ve already changed it again:
King James, of course. If it was good enough for Peter and Paul, it’s good enough for me!
Tell me about it, I thought Kloppenberg had it in the bag. She was neck and neck in the primary and that was even with spitting votes with another liberal leaning judge who didn’t make it.
‘I have no intention of legislating from the bench’ is Bradley’s campaign mantra. Bitch, it’s the judicial prerogative to check the legislature, not become it.
Mary was an atheist?

That’s some Ginsbergesque fee verse right there.

Authentic Alaskan gibberish.
Somebody get Lin-Manuel Miranda on the phone. I think we’ve got his next musical waiting in the wings.

Brazen Addleds ?
I hate that I find the “green and gold” comment perfectly parsable. This probably indicates some sort of irreversible brain damage.

In exit polls, something like 15% of Bernie Sanders voters said they had not voted for judge or had voted for Bradley. That’s a shame.
Bradley is a worse empty suit than Thomas. Very depressing.

Ben Carson thinks everybody has been arrested at least once.
It’s plausible that a black man would think that, isn’t it?
Wow. Really?
