And he’s getting skewered on Twitter.

That depends on the size of the anal probe they use.
[shrug] Joan Rivers is like an Agatha Christie murder victim, there are so many people with motives that everyone’s a suspect.
Last night President Obama gave a speech at Rutgers University where he said “. . .ignorance is not a vurtue.” Trump tweeted this response:
Is this an endorsement for ignorance? An 'I’m-rubber-you’re-glue" type dealie? A non-sequitur from a mind warped by a sentient hairpiece? I don’t understand.
I thought – prayed, really – that the tweet must have been from a parody account. Nope. That’s the real Republican nominee for President, folks. I just… Jesus. I mean, really. Jesus. I can’t get my head around this.
I would remind you that extremism in the defense of stupidity is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of ignorance is no virtue!
Ignorance is strength! I have the best ignorance! It’s yuge. Obama is a disaster because he’s not ignorant at all. Sad!
Alabama senator wants to place “monitors” at restrooms to make sure nothing funny happens.

Funny how a question that involves less than 1% of the country’s population becomes such an immediate national crisis (actually, since we’re talking “transfolk who also are planning funny business in the loo”, make that less than one percent of less than one percent…).
Of all the wedge issues in all the elections in all the world…
Maybe they’re running out of wedge issues.
So instead they want wedgie issues?
The Republicans are used to cowtowing to the 1%.
Ignorance Is Strength.
Just look how strong Trump is.
His strength is yuuuge! Like Herculean, except American and not Greek.
I’ve complained about the sudden need to show photo ID at voting places–when the previous methods produced almost no “voter fraud.” But having to show my Original Birth Certificate (Long Form?) every time I want to pee will really anger me…
(The Texas Republican Platform has always been ridiculous. The big problem at this year’s shindig was learning to love The Donald. Thus, distractions about Secession & Bathroom Politics.)
And, if it’s Taco Night, the monitor may well have to wait until I’m done to see my birth certificate, or there will need to be a clean-up in aisle 4.
Maybe they should check at the door and issue restroom passes. (You return them when you leave)
Obama believes ignorance is a virtue in governance though. “Wha? I had no idea that was going on! I’m shocked!”
So he should have a direct line to each and every federal employee, talk to every one of them every day? Put them on a polygraph to ensure he’s hearing everything?
If Trump is elected, will you hold him to the same standard? Did you expect the same of Bush?
