Stupid Republican idea of the day

That’s proof he said it. It’s not on the internet.

“There’s nothing like racist white men and their watermelon…”

See? Now that quote exists on the internet. That’s how it is done. :stuck_out_tongue:

Resembles the quote from Pudd’nhead Wilson’s Calendar.

Hillary was not in NYC on 9/11, she was working in Washington. That picture is apparently from 9/12. Now, the interesting question is if she has actually claimed to be in NYC on 9/11. I’m going to guess ‘no’, but I’m too lazy to do a search.

The linked article mentions this:

Bolding mine

Giuliani retracted that statement and apologized for it a few hours later.

He should retract this offensive garbage too:

Oh, I see. It’s a fucking club, with that punk bitch Adolf Gooliani as Grand Wizard.

Of course he did. You can say any wildly inaccurate and inflammatory thing you want as long as you at least sort-of apologize for it later, right?

You just have to say “That was not intended to be a factual statement” and it’s all good.

But the point remains that Hillary is bad, right?

Is this not a stupid comment on it’s face?

I was Sacramento yesterday and I did not see the Governor there. I guess that means he weren’t there! I mean, I would now need photographic proof that he was there to counteract the fact that I did not personally see him in a big fucking town with a lot of shit going on.

The number of New Yorkers that he did not personally see on that day is in the millions. Even important, famous ones. Unless there’s a rule. Do you have to personally check in the mayor if you’re in town and something happens?

She was standing right next to him, he didn’t smell the sulfur?

Someone needs to seriously ask Guliani if he has seen a doctor recently, because he is showing signs of obvious memory loss, and it is worrying.

To not remember that you spent THE DAY AFTER 9/11 with the SENATOR FROM YOUR OWN STATE is not just a bit of a memory lapse. It’s a medically serious symptom of something organically wrong with your brain.

He didn’t forget seeing her. He forgot there was independent evidence that he saw her. It is to his credit that unlike Trump, he at least admitted he was wrong when the evidence was put in front of his face.

True. Trump would have doubled down, threatened to sue the photographer, and said that this means that the media want ISIS to send Mexicans to steal our jobs.

He didn’t say that, right? Having a hard time keeping up.

Well, she had that dust mask on, so he couldn’t actually recognize her, right? All the asbestos floating around must have hidden the sulfur smell, too.

Please don’t make me defend Rudy. He thought she said she was in NYC on 9/11 - which she wasn’t. That is what he jumped on, and apologized for when he found out that wasn’t what she said.

Of course, he could have checked his facts first, but that would be asking a lot.

Trump advisor points out that Trumps tax plan will save money for the couple earning $50,000 who employ a nanny. Both of them, apparently.

As a bonus, he refers to them as ‘the little people’.

Governor of Oklahoma calls for an Oilfield Prayer Day to ask God to protect the oil industry.

Like this ‘helpful’ infographic from the Wall Street Journal about the then proposed expiration of the Bush tax cuts?

For those that don’t want to click it, it is the one with the single person earning $230,000 a year and a single mother of two earning $260,000.
