Stupid Republican idea of the day

Seth Rich’s father says that Kim Dotcom tried to hack his son’s email account.

As a side note, those wacky, fun-loving creationists are at it again, including a Tower of Babel, concept snack shacks, a 3,200-seat amphitheater and a 10-plagues-of-Egypt thrill ride. Frogs! Fiery hail! Locusts! Oh My!

With an election tomorrow, Republican congressional candidate Greg Gianforte makes an important point about the need for healthcare insurance

Same thing happened in Iowa, too. Several cities passed ordinances setting minimum wages higher than the state minimum wage, and the GOP jerk wads in Des Moines who rode to power on the backs of angry, uninformed Trump voters rammed through a state law that invalidated those city ordinances. Not only did it prohibit differing minimum wages (on the same bullshit rationale as Missouri, “standardization” and the prevention of “patchwork” labor laws), it also prevents cities from having local ordinances prohibiting plastic bags, for example.

Republicans: the party of small government and local control. Unless we don’t like what you’re doing, in which case we’ll mandate all over your ass.

(The aforementioned Trump-voter empowered GOP jerk wads in Iowa were also quick to follow Scott Walker and Wisconsin’s example, passing a law eliminating practically all collective bargaining by state employees and teachers in a staggeringly swift 10 days, conveniently after not mentioning anything about that proposal during their campaigns. They also turned down federal health money just so they could spit in Planned Parenthood’s face, considered a law granting personhood to a fetus as soon as it has a heartbeat, and kept education funding well under a satisfactory amount, in order to pay for a massive commercial property tax cut and corporate tax credits. And they’re talking about an income tax cut next year! I don’t know anymore if we are becoming more like Wisconsin, or is it Kansas.)

Its called “compassionate conservatism” steatopygia.

Republicans believe that decisions should be made at whatever level of government is controlled by Republicans. I’m guessing you won’t hear anything about states as long as “R”'s control the WH and both houses of Congress.

GOP Candidate body slams Journalist.

The audio is pretty damning.

More damning - it was witnessed by a Fox News crew.

An excerpt:

Assaulting a reporter is a reason why a Republican would vote FOR a candidate.

Are we beginning to see cracks in the armor? Chicago-based Cars.com to stop advertising on Fox News’ ‘Hannity’.

Ran out of time when posting the above. Here is a list of Sean Hannity’s advertisers. You may want to pass it on.

And of course, The member of the Party of Personal Responsibility didn’t.

This same reporter whom Gianforte assaulted outed him just last month for his ties to Russia. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

Whupped by a pencil necked liberal “reporter”? He’s that special variety of flower, the Montana Pansy!

OBJECTION ! Assumes facts not in evidence.

“The Billings Gazette editorial board is also doing something without precedent: We’re rescinding our editorial endorsement of Greg Gianforte.”

KA-CHING! Yeah Baby!

Fucker.

"U.S. House candidate Greg Gianforte has been cited for assaulting a reporter from the Guardian at the Republican’s campaign headquarters in Bozeman. Gianforte was cited for misdemeanor assault, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office. "

This story has gone national. We’ll have to wait until morning to see if House candidate Greg “The Hammer” Gianforte wins Montana’s lone House Seat.

OTOH, I’ve read that a lot of votes by mail have already been cast. On the other hand, this certainly doesn’t help him.
