Most conservatives aren’t very good with humor, it tends to be the Trump style of humor where you say something untrue and horrible then claim it was a “joke”.
The Last Line of Defense website isnt funny, its just weird. There’s a story on there about a DEMOCRATIC Florida state Senator being arrested for public urination. A little googling shows that it’s totally made up, there is no Florida State Senator with that name. And the story isn’t even funny.
Contrast that with this story on my favorite satirical website, which exposes open concept kitchens and 1000 thread count bedsheets as secret weapons of the “Gay agenda”. The site is over the top, but at least it’s funny. And no one sane is going to confuse it woth real news.

Most conservative humor either involves punching down or just variations on ‘A democrat did this, hur,hur,hur!’. The conservative wannbee version of ‘This Modern World’ is a patheitc comic called ‘Hope n Change’, which has about 50% of its cartoons calling Chelsea Clinton ugly, because that never gets old or pathetic.
Let’s remember that when conservatives tried to imitate The Daily Show with their ‘The 1/2 Hour News Show’ they seemed to think saying 'Gay Penguins!!" over and over was funny. The show floped so bad their face was flattened from hitting the pavement.
Not to mention the pathetically unfunny “Mallard Fillmore” comic strip.
I don’t know whether to count Martin Shkreli as a Republican, though he does embody core Republican values, but he is now offering $5000 to anybody who grabs a sample of hair from Hillary during her book tour. I hope somebody gets arrested during the attempt and Shkreli is arrested as an accessory.

In the post, Shkreli said he intended it as satire. Satire of what, I haven’t a clue. It’s just bizarre.

“Satire”, “A joke”, “not serious”, this is what Conservatives say when they get called out for making threats or inciting violence.
Yeah, that is pretty bad. It elicits a snert in the second or third paragraph, but the relentless pounding of the double entendres causes the humorosity to peter out rather quickly.
The Republican sheriff of Polk County, FL plans to post deputies at every hurricane shelter, check IDs at the door, arrest anyone with a warrant, and deny shelter to registered sex offenders.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they prevent undocumented residents from getting in, too.

I know a lot of conservatives. Nice ones, “nice” but actually full of contempt for outsiders, and not-so-nice ones. Most of them understand humor just fine.
We live in an age of feeding lies and rumors to the gullible, and hiding behind a misuse of the word “satire” to avoid legal trouble.
Ah, yes, Ryan’s a RINO. That must be why he was the Republican vice presidential nominee five years ago.
