Stupid Republican idea of the day

They expect people, as I personally expect, to die at their desks because we can’t expect to retire. Though when full Social Security (more than I make now–I had some very good decades) kicks in, Friday is a goner.

A Trumpista is suing a New York bar for telling him to take off his MAGA hat, and he’s claiming that his hat is a religious symbol and therefore he’s being discriminated against as part of a protected class.

I’m afraid I’ll have to side with the Trumpista. MAGA is definitely a religion — it’s certainly not based on science or any rational thought that doesn’t appeal to the supernatural.

And his lawsuit is a perfect representation of their religious practices. It starts off saying he was “denied services”, shifts that to him being “snubbed and insulted”, and eventually ends up with him having bought and paid for (along with tips!) 16 drinks, with the bar claiming he made the whole thing up.

Breitbart editor: Hollywood celebrities are anti-gun in order to keep sexual harassment victims quiet.
This website is partisan, but below that link is a link to the actual broadcast:

Roy Moore thinks that kneeling for the anthem is illegal.

The law school that gave this moron a degree should have its accreditation reviewed. Or ask for for the diploma back.

If/when the Dems take back Congress and the White House, they should pass a law that says, that Roy Moore “should” start every sentence with “Hi, I’m a moron.” See how he feels about free speech then.*

*Yes, Bricker, I know. I know. I am curious about how you feel about a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama being so pig-ignorant about the law he was sworn to uphold.

Maybe you remember a few years back, the RW-types kept referring to Obama as “your messiah”. I guess they think “fair’s fair”, based on the assumption that everyone left of crazy venerated, adored and bowed to him like jesus h christ. The “left” were like that (in their eyes), so they ought to follow suit.

Steve Prattor, Sheriff of Louisiana’s Caddo Parish: We need to stop releasing prisoners for good behavior: They’re the ones who do slave labor for us!

Don’t mention any Supreme Court. Now we’re all gonna get Borked again.

Other way around, dude: that’s how they act (or wish they could act) so they assume that everyone has their same motivations and desires.

Kind of like how they always rail against “those damn Hollywood elites,” then gleefully vote for former actors Reagan and Trump as their Führer.

Bill O’Reilly is mad at God for not covering up his sexual harassment allegations.

Lyin’ YHVH is giving the Fake News a pass! Sad!

I assume they mean to leave no tern unstoned:

House GOP Probing Obama-Era Uranium Sale to Russia

Hasn’t the whole Hillary/Obama selling Russia Uranium thing been thoroughly debunked by now? Their distraction tactics are so fucking obvious. I can’t believe that conservatives fall for this shit.

We’re still waiting for the Niger investigation to kick off, of course.

You mean the investigation into the lying widows? Ya, we’ve gotta get to the bottom of that.

Right after the investigation into how to avoid mispronouncing it.

Dubya’s speechwriters just changed the source of the yellowcake to “Africa”, but that won’t cut it here.

Selling Russia uranium? Oh no, now they could become a nuclear power.

Two person Montana firm in Ryan Zinke’s home town lands Puerto Rico’s biggest contract ($300 million) to get the power back on

Of course it’s totally not possible Zinke got a kickback.
