I would argue that the victory of Danica Roem over Bob Marshall in VA at the very least rivals the NJ Freeholder one. Ms. Roem is a trans woman and Bob Marshall is the author of VA’s Bathroom Bill. He spent the entire campaign refusing to debate her and refusing to properly gender her with his pronouns and titles, and she beat him flat.
Tom Coyne, the mayor of Brook Park, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, who switched from Democrat to Republican after Trump was elected, was voted out last night.
