Making such a huge change to the system would involve thousands of people to make it work. If it could work at all. trump is so, so stupid. Just where is this food going to come from? Just where are you going to deliver it to? What about people that only have PO Boxes, just how clogged up will that make the local post office? The additional bureaucracy of such a system would double the cost of food stamps. And so it won’t happen. “Because, we tried to feed people, but it was too costly”. Another excuse that he tried to help, but fucked over those less fortunate.
Not that that isn’t the republicans plan.

Got to be a penalty for being poor, otherwise, people wouldn’t sacrifice time and dignity to avoid it. And then the whole system breaks down.
You gotta suffer to sing the blues. And even if you don’t particularly want to sing the blues, you still got to suffer. But now, you can sing the blues. So it all evens out in the end.
How much sugar is going to be in these care packages and which of Trump’s friends owns the nonexistent company that’s going to get the juicy contract to distribute them?
Everybody who has tried to do something like this has failed miserably. Therefore, the contract should go to someone who has no experience whatsoever.
