Tell me about it. I went to a far-far-right wing school, where they were advocating anarchy (no government, no police, just the free market). Just like the far-far-lefties were (this was late sixties/seventies).

I’m quite serious: It is pretty much an article of faith among the Anarcho-Syndicalists I’m familiar with that Anarcho-Capitalism isn’t Anarchism at all. What it is is a heresy, which means they treat it as a joke, which means they can’t articulate the how it would be practically, as opposed to theoretically, different from their preferred brand, which means they don’t have any practice to point to at all so these theoretical differences actually seem important to them. Frankly, without a government, there would be nothing to stop private entities from taking all the power, and screaming “ANARCHISM MEANS NO COERCION” at them will only make them more eager to shoot you, if only to shut you up. And, no, holding the moral high ground isn’t militarily useful.
