That’s how Rauner rolls. During the Presidential election he would not say anything period about Trump. He would never endorse a Democrat, even over a Nazi, and instead just pulls a pillow over his head. He never criticized Trump because he never let the name pass his teeth. He would only issue vague promises of supporting “The Nominee”.

Or, just possibly, two people came up with the same obvious joke. It really is low-hanging fruit. If you say something two hours before I do, then I say it having never heard you, did I steal it? And please don’t say, “but it’s on Twitter”; I read dozens of messages a day, but the people I follow tweet hundreds to thousands of times.
I’ve been hearing jokes about not getting over her emails for weeks (maybe months). I’ve even seen them posted on this very board. It wasn’t new those two hours before.
The first time I heard it was probably right after trump was elected when somebody said the border wall should be built out of Hillary’s e-mails…

Yes, it doesn’t make much sense. However, that’s when I read it.
Maybe it just suggest that nobody is getting over them, Republicans see them impenetrable, or … dunno, maybe there was some good reasoning and I’ve forgotten it.
