Stupid Republican idea of the day

The founder of the Daily Stormer has been ordered to pay $725,000 to Taylor Dumpson for his troll attack on her because she was the first Black student body president of American University. He has also been ordered to pay $14 million against Jewish real estate agent Tanya Gersh, and $4.1 million against Muslim comedian Dean Obeidallah.

I’m 14% proud, but 86% disgusted.

What about the trolls who actually carried out the harrassment? Are any of them facing charges?

Typos! That should be harassment in Post #441852.

Emphasis added…

Now THAT’s funny!

Yeah; too bad it wasn’t “45…” in honor of the twerp who’s tarnishing the office of the presidency. Who knows? Maybe this thread’ll get up to that number of posts by the time he’s impeached!

Rep. Steve King, defending anti-abortion legislation without an exception for rape or incest:

My goal is to be killed by an assassin using a jealous ex-lover just because i like my life complicated like that.

Huh…
Wha…
Wait a…

… the fucking fuck…?

Is King simply trolling the world?

Let’s take a moment to say a prayer of thanks for rape and incest. Yay! Conservatives rock!

He is literally that deluded.

I feel fairly confident that Steve King was[sic] a part of a product of several generations of incest.

Without them, they’d have to resort to farm animals.

Well, historically speaking, King is probably right. You have two parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great-great grandparents–go back just 15 generations and you have over 72,000 relations, and somewhere along the line the odds are favorable, given wars and human conduct thereof, that a child born of rapine or incest becomes likely.

That said, that he believes we’re not slightly more mature as a people yet says oodles about him and how he would conduct himself if the world would just let him (let’s say Droit du seigneur probably holds great interest to him).

Yes, a waste product…

Re: Steve King

King was attempting to make the point that if you are against abortions, it doesn’t make sense to allow yourself the exception of being for an abortion that is wanted because of a rape. IOW, if you think abortion is murder, what does it matter how the child (fetus) was conceived? Why is murder no longer murder in that case? He wasn’t suggesting that rape is acceptable.

He was normalizing it, and that’s close enough.

Also, there was this: “It’s not the baby’s fault for the sin of the father, or of the mother,” he said.

Y’know, if he wanted to say “pregnancy’s precious regardless how it started”, he could, like, say that. Others do.

He should take that one to immigration court.

Liz Cheney decides to show she’s had enough by tweeting:

“Today’s comments by @RepSteveKingIA are appalling and bizarre. As I’ve said before, it’s time for him to go. The people of Iowa’s 4th congressional district deserve better.”

Of course, that’s the wrong Twitter account, but at least she tried.

Devin Nunes is a farmer, or maybe he is not, but he claims to own a farm, which seems to be the size of a postcard and makes no money.
