Stupid Republican idea of the day

Ah. We’re further along than I thought.

He’s a Blacula. Kinda like a vampire, but with a 1970s vibe.

Sarah Palin just quit.

:dubious:

But does that qualify as a bad idea or a good one?

She only resigned as governor of Alaska; I doubt we’ve seen the last of her, unfortunately. I’d like to know why she quit before I decide if it’s stupid or not.

Well, I’d say a good one until more details come out.

Weird. Nice timing too, right at the start of the holiday weekend. You have to admit, it’s a pretty nice B-day gift to America.

Judging from her history, it’s probably going to lead to a whole bunch of bad ideas.
Also, it’s not so good for Alaska. It’s right after she started lying about how much food some towns had…

According to certain sources it’s because there are Federal indictments looming over her:

This is terrible news for the McCain campaign.

But seriously, is there a curse on the Republican party or something? They falling off like flies.

It’s nice to know that I didn’t dance widdershins around that bonfire naked in vain.

God hates em now.

It’s Obama’s fault.

I got a little chuckle this evening while I waited for my sandwiches at Quizno’s. I was leafing through a copy of the Orange County Register, when I came across a little item saying that Dubya was going to celebrate the Fourth of July in a small town in Oklahoma. A woman organizing the event said “This shows his character. He’s not too good for the common people.”

YOU SAID IT, LADY!

Leading Republican candidate for President now: Stephen Colbert.

They’ve proven themselves not worthy by losing to Obama and now deserve to be destroyed?

-Joe

Destroying them implies outside powers are at work. What’s happening is really a form of suicide.

I would have thought the religious right would be against suicide, but since they are leading the charge into the party grave, I was apparently wrong about that.

I prefer to look at it as a herd running off the cliff. The smart ones will stop short and, after some re-branding, inherit the party.

I have been accused of being an eternal optimist, though.

No, an eternal optimist would think of the smart ones stopping short of the cliff, yet being dragged over anyway by the mass action of the herd.

My LOL of the day – thank you!
