Well, to be reasonable … some instances are more equal than others!
When the time comes, I am totally stealing this reasoning.
I also like how he seems to imply that before the arrival of the Europeans, Native Americans weren’t free.
I hesitate to put this in this thread because the perpetrator’s identity is yet unknown, but it’s clear to see that a certain idealogy and a certain sector of media and government has enabled this kind of extremism…
Hey, hey, hey now. Republican idea? That could very well be a Tea Party member for all you know. You shouldn’t jump to conclusions.
Boy are Republicans stupid. Everybody knows cats are libertarians.
After the whole thing with the census worker who offed himself, I’m less inclined to jump to conclusions. Anyway, maybe the cat was pro-SSM or something.
I don’t think the cat committed suicide. He’d just booked a trip to the hamper, saved himself up a nice big ball of string and his owner just got a new can opener. He had too much to live for.
Possibly Captain Schettino sailed too close to it and accidentally hit it with a rock.
Bob has been an especially stupid Republican monkey:
Oh, and now he is running for the US Senate.
The article does say it was an email he forwarded. But no, the article and event itself come straight from January 2012.
Santorum: Accept your broken rape-baby gift from God. Or I’ll have your doctor arrested.
Peace be with you.
I can’t really pick on him for that. If you’re pro-life because you think a foetus is a human, it’s logically inconsistent to accept abortion for rape/incest reasons.
Yeah but I wouldn’t call it a gift from God. Nor would I tell women to just accept their rape-baby gift and get over it.
Well, that’s kind of the thing: what would you say that wouldn’t be phenomenally insensitive?
Per the Wikipedia link, the article alleges (since I can’t log into the source for the quotes.)
Rape is an embarrassment?
Well, yes, if you believe that people have a right to receive what they need even if the people who currently possess those things don’t want to fork them over.
Republicans generally reject that premise.
We’re lucky he doesn’t consider it a compliment.

I hesitate, but this guy might have won the thread…
First foie gras, now this.
