Stupid Republican idea of the day

As far as Congress is concerned, there is no limit. The enabling legislation determines whether given officers of an agency are subject to confirmation.

This is your conservative movement, America. Cherish it.

Saw him last night on Hardball. His arm waving and gesticulation was hilarious. Someone needs to set it to music…

::scribbles furiously::

I’ve now filed paperwork for the creation of The Hermitage Foundation and The Kay Tow Institute.

Now to set up some phone lines and GOLD, JERRY! GOLD!

The Amerindian Enterprise Institute.

I trust that I will be able to welcome many of you into the ranks of my newly created Gran’s Olde Par-TAY, a liberally conservative (and conservatively liberal) political party.

The Club for Growths

The National Raffle Association. Hell if you just say it aloud in the south, they won’t even know the difference.

I don’t know if he’s Republican but man, is he right-wing:

Alex Jones on Piers Morgan.

The linked video is just a snippet but the whole thing is filled with fun statements like:

Alex Jones afterwards

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a granny to bludgeon.

Really?

Panic on the streets of London!
Panic on the streets of Birmingham!

Burn down the disco!
Hang the deejay!

Panic! At the Disco

Am I doing this right?

Good Lord. I saw this on TDS with Jon Stewart last night.

I give Piers Morgan mad props for not punching him. I have never wanted to pummel anyone so much in my life.

Strangely, that’s what I usually say about Piers Morgan.

But yes, Stewart’s response was on the mark.

Somebody ought to found a liberal organization and call it the Hermitage Foundation.

ETA (after starting to read this page): nevermind

Hey! I got through to his voicemail a few weeks back, which was unsurprisingly easy since he doesn’t seem to have a receptionist to screen his calls. Nor anybody else working at Infowars. He’s a sad, frightened, loud man, so I didn’t take advantage of my access to his inner sanctum.

What I find amusing is the response I got to my thread about conservatives being *literally *insane. You don’t get much crazier than Alex Jones and remain uninstitutionalized.

As a literal descendant of (among other things) New England WASP’s who fought in the War for Independence, I think I could reasonably found an “American Heritage Fund” or the like.

Granted, I’m the sort who was disappointed to find out how WASPish my ancestry is, I thought I was more of Pennsylvania Dutch descent.
