Kendell Kroeker puts forward a bill that would make it a felony to enforce any federal gun bans in the State of Wyoming. Penalties for federales caught trying to enforce federal law would be up to 5 years in prison and a $50.000 fine.
We see this sort of thing now and then – absurd State laws against the enforcement of Federal laws…

The pathetic thing about this is, if they simply changed the who has standing to sue, like give the state the right to sue to prevent the abortion, they wouldn’t have to basically let rapists force this on the women they violated in the first place. As I understand, it’s not so much that it “isn’t natural” (because what good family values politician doesn’t want MOR PRESHOUS BABEEZ however you can make them) but that it produces extra embryos that aren’t used. And the argument that’s been made for a while that “Oh, they can all be adopted by other infertile couples!” doesn’t really fly when there are over 600,000 already existing embryos, and the number of actual “adoptions” is in the low thousands. Plus, estimates are that maybe only 50% of frozen embryos even survive the thawing process, and even fewer actually successfully implant to become a viable pregnancy, so IVF kills many many preshous babeez before they even get to be babeez, so clearly it’s evil.
