Come on now. 1,000 times worse? Can’t be more than 247 times worse in my opinion.
What’s really sad is that there are too many idiots out there who actually believe that crap. ACORN is a good organization, run by good-hearted people and they do good things. They didn’t do a thing wrong, not a thing, and now they’re villified beyond belief by racist Republicans who just want to destroy the work they do out of hatred and bigotry.
Well, if they’d stop trying to help those god damned minorities vote (or if they’d just vote the RIGHT way), then they can get their funding back.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to the KBR rape-a-thon. I’m in third place!

Guy called into a C-SPAN show, wonders if Barrasso prayed hard enough for Byrd’s death or if he accidentally prayed Inhofe to death. C-SPAN does not have a sense of humor it is aware of.

I’m concerned about Prayers of Mass Destruction getting into the wrong hands. We should consider preemptive attacks against countries that might attack us with prayer.
And for God’s sake, keep them out of the hands of children. Little Billy could be praying with little Suzie and next thing your know … fucking frogs falling out of the sky!

Not if we limit their availability to well-regulated prayer groups, being necessary to the salvation of a free State.
I wouldn’t go that far in terms of the motivation of the Republicans. I think they’re out to destroy ACORN because they are an effective grass roots organization that was able to motivate people in the lower economic classes to register and vote. These people tend to vote for the Democrats, and this has scared the shit out of the Republicans.
Politically, their tactic is to destroy and vilify the very organization that has been so effective against the Republican party.
Democrats should take note of this, and re-double their efforts to register many, many more people from poorer economic areas.

For a second there I was excited to learn that Inhofe was dead. Turns out that he’s not. One obviously cannot petition the Lord with prayer.
