I, for one, am astounded that any sensible person can still call themselves a “Republican”. The people leading them have pretty much erased any remaining goodwill for the party of Lincoln.
Someone should also show her a map and explain to her that Washington DC is actually on the east coast instead of being the state directly below Alaska.
So, what’s the big deal? If you can’t find a job or afford food Mitt Romney has a simple solution…you;ll be SHOCKED to know that the solutions to your problems were right there all along.

Oh, many of my family members would be heartily offended to hear such a comment. Don’t you know that GOP means God’s Own Party?! And that anyone non-Republican, with the possible exception of Libertarians, is automatically suspect?

It’s too old to be a SRIOTD, but this recalls the time when the Republicans took control of the House (2010?) - their first item of business was to get rid of the compostible utensils in the congressional cafeteria, and bring back plastic.
