Stupid Republican idea of the day

My thought when I read about that: “Who is going to pick up the trash tonight?”

Same as anything with feathers.

Rock Hudson. Phyllis Gates.

Tom Cruise. Nicole Kidman. Katie Holmes.

Liberace. Boom-chicka-boom-chicka-wow-wow-WOW!

Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley . . . are a different kinda story, rather.

AC 35, but in my mind the more important parts are fire resistance 10 and DR 15/epic and evil (Cite)

No, that would be Michele.

Well, the WWII Vets do traditionally hit the bars after these visits . . .

I apologize if this has been mentioned but can we give a shoutout to House Dem from Indiana Todd Rokita who declared Obamacare “one of the most insidious laws created by man”. That’s right, as Jon Stewart pointed out, it is right up there with Jim Crow laws the Nuremburg Laws and the law which said the King could have sex with your bride-to-be on the night before your wedding. Also implicit in that statement is that there are some pretty insidious laws, no created by man…such as…the law of Gravitation? The Law of Supply and Demand? The Ten Commandments??? WHAT???

You mean House Rep, I think.

Well, maybe by “most insidious” he did not mean “worst” but “sneakiest.” We get the thin end of the spike in here, the bare beginnings of social democracy, weak solution, the first hit’s free, people get hooked, it’s the hard stuff next, pure single-payer, and then we’re speedballing redistributive taxes and inflation-adjusted living-minimum wages and government job programs and labor-friendly legislation and worker’s-coop businesses and before you know it America is being run like Sweden!

Oh, and if that means we have to have a King, dibs.

Yeah.

I’d just like to add that the latest strategy by the House Tea Partisans - to bring up individual bills to fund just certain governmental functions piecemeal - is so stupid the Tea Party folks think it’s brilliant.

I mean, it’s just so transparent a ploy, funding things that people like, or that just pop up in the news (World War II memorial, NIH funding) in order to make the eeeevil libruls look like the bad guys for keeping the parks closed and killing those poor, cancer-stricken kids … that will never fool the American people, right? Right? Please God, let me be right …

I think the Senate Democrats should play along. Let the House send their bill funding national parks. Add in funding for food stamps and send it back. They send a bill funding the VA, you add on funding for Planned Parenthood. “THAT’S the Chicago way!”

[shrug] It will fool those who are already fooled.

I like this! I really like the cut of your jib! The Democratic Party could benefit from hiring you as a strategist! It’s not only playing the game for all its worth, it’s also funny!

House Republicans are seeking a congressional probe into why the DC parks and monuments were closed down… during the government shutdown.

Just in case you were worried that your tax dollars weren’t well spent.

On the plus side, Fox News should be making you a job offer any minute now.

OH MY GOD! It’s just like Bhengazi all over again!

I think Obama personally ordered the Veterans to be beaten up!

No, that was me. I didn’t exactly order anything, I just let some German and Japanese WWII vets know they were going to be there.

This is absolutely disgusting, a republican Representative from Texas (whoo-hoo got it right this time), actually made a park service employee apologize for shutting down the WWII Memorial park.

This is not just sad it is simply appalling.
