I think you misunderstand, I’m willing to keep her. It’s just that the books have to balance and I think Glenn is about right. It’s not like I tried to send them Coulter. That would just be mean.
Beck AND Hannity or no deal.
Does anybody even listen to Hannity anymore? I never hear about his crazy at anything like the level of Beck.
Besides we need to be reasonable with [del]the suckers[/del] our Canadian brethren. Oh wait, I’ve got it. We’ll keep Simon Cowell and England gets Hannity and Limbaugh - you can’t ask for more fair than that!
So true. We are a generous people.
Cowell generates revenue. What good will Hannity and Limbaugh do for England (other than the latter helping to weigh down the island in high winds)?
Temperate weather from all the hot air?
Good point (and yes, nitpickers, I’m aware that England is only part of the island.)
Yes, but look at the WAY he generates revenue. I mean, we’re running out of tv hours for him to put crappy competition shows. Still, a sacrifice we’re willing to make for our English friends - all you have to do is give up 2 hours of radio and an hour of tv every weekday. Seems like you’re getting the better of the bargain if you ask me.
“GOP Rep. says ‘Four branches of govt’ need to negotiate. The only thing missing in his plan is the 4th branch.”
Warning: bad grammar ahead. I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’s not that big on education.
I don’t normally have a dog in this fight, but this kind of stuff scares me when it comes from a person on the streets; hearing it from a government representative is downright mortifying. There’s probably already a thread on this I missed, but on the Christian radio show Understanding the Times, Michelle Bachmann claimed not only that Obama is “paying to give arms to terrorists including Al-Qaeda”, but also, that this means that we are indeed living in the end times:
[
](Bachmann: Obama Funding Al-Qaeda Proves 'We Are In God’s End Times' | Crooks and Liars)
And apparently, that’s a good thing too.
Now what’s pretty clear is that this is not sane. This is a stance that could be held verbatim by the insane leader of some suicide cult. Interpreted charitably, perhaps she was just pandering to the listenership of the radio program—i.e. perhaps she was simply lying. But in no sense is this something that could be said by anybody fit for government.

Oh goddammit. See, this is precisely why I advised extermination instead of subversion and colonization. “We can’t trust our puppets”, I said. “Some Earthling bozo is going to spill the beans, just you wait”, I said. But would they listen ?!
They voted for him 'cuz he passeded civics class (where they teach you about them hondas).
Actually, this is not a stupid “idea” it’s just presented poorly. This is part of their plan. They need everyone to believe that the House=President in the ranking of things instead of House=Senate. See, that way (excluding the USSC and believe me, they’d love to exclude the USSC) they (and you can see Terr doing this in other threads) can say, “BUT WE CONTROL 1/3 OF GOVERNMENT!” As opposed to “WE CONTROL 1/2 of 1/2 OF GOVERNMENT”. It’s a power play against the Executive.
Whoa whoa whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
What if…and just hear me out… we do a big West End right-wing panto version of Alice in Wonderland and get Rush Limbaugh and Eric Pickles to play Tweedledee and Tweedledum? I’m thinking Ann Coulter as Alice, Sean Hannity as the White Rabbit, Richard Littlejohn as the Caterpillar, Glenn Beck as the Mad Hatter, Jeremy Clarkson as the Cheshire Cat and a CGI Margaret Thatcher as the Queen of Hearts (“Off with their benefits!”). They already live in an insane fantasy world; this is just putting that to best use.
Solid gold, baby! That sucker will run for years.
Why? They gave us Ted Cruz.
Hannity, at least, will serve to remind the people of England of why it was a good idea to let the Irish go.
Well, maybe he’s counting each house of Congress as a branch . . . but that still does not explain why he thinks four branches need to negotiate here; the judiciary has nothing to do with the budget.
Maybe he means the press.
Could be. Still no idea what their place in negotiations would be.
Legislative is one. Executive is two. Judicial is three. That adds up to four, you dumb socialists. No wonder you can’t manage the economy – you can’t even count.
What?
