You left before the gun. ![]()
I knew, sports is all about balls! While I like having refreshments on hand, I could do without that idiot walking around my room yelling about peanuts and cold beer.
It IS nice to get that little cup of water when approaching the finish line.
To make matters worse, the socialist bastard is outsourcing the bread and circuses to Brazil!
So much for “caring about American jobs,” I guess. :dubious:
Actually, it’s all part of his misunderstood plan to jumpstart the American economy. More interest in soccer means more kids playing soccer. Which means more soccer Moms. Which means more call for minivans. And if there’s one thing that American industry can build, it’s unreasonably huge vehicles.
Coulter doesn’t seem to understand that soccer/football is a game with a prospect of either personal humiliation or major injury.
Usually, it happens in the stands.
Those moms can be vicious.
I am pretty sure the pants they are made to wear count as “personal humiliation” ![]()
Man, I knew Obama was the master of the long con (witness the birth announcement in Honolulu newspapers) but this one shows real foresight. And he’s got the entire world in on the conspiracy!
That’s not water…
I can’t think of anywhere else to post this, but the losing primary candidate for the 3rd House of Representatives District, has announced his intention to contest the primary election results because Rep. Frank Lucas, the incumbent, has been dead since 2011, and is being represented to voters by a body double.
From Timothy Ray Murray’s own campaign website:
And from there things devolve into pure incomprehensibility - there’s something about the 2012 Kentucky Senate election being influenced by the military’s use of DNA, which I cannot make heads nor tails of. Especially since there was no US Senatorial election in Kentucky that year.
Of course, no one should get too smug about this guy - back in 2012, he ran as a Democratic Party Candidate, winning the primary and getting soundly defeated in the election.
From another account of this story, we have Timothy Ray Murray’s assurances:
(capitalizations in original)
As the story notes:
What an excellent opportunity to buff my non-partisan cred! Given the choice between a corpse and a Republican, I will not hesitate to vote Republican!
OK, I would be reluctant! But still…
That’s what they want you to think.
I think this one looks like actual mental illness, not stupidity.
Given the level of crazy and the proliferation of CTs on the RepubliTea side, you have to wonder if they are not all just a Democratic false-flag operation (first suggested by Tom Tomorrow over eight years ago).

If we make that distinction, this is going to be a pretty sparse thread. ![]()
IMO the articles about Ablow’s world cup idiocy are burying the lead. In the same segment, he also stated as a fact that the reason Obama was elected was (paraphrasing from memory) because the American people were afraid of terrorists, and they hoped to mollify them by voting for someone who would destroy America.
Considering his assertion of his own humanity predates the election, and he still got 5% of the vote, I’m less inclined to excuse this as simply one person’s mental illness. When that large a minority of the population is willing to follow him, I think it transcends one person’s mental illness.
Idiocy might not be the proper collective term for what’s going on, but it seems a good one, until something better comes along.
