Once again, I am forced to defend Death of a President, from someone who - I’d lay dollars to donuts - didn’t even see the film. It was in no way a fantasization about killing George W. Bush. In fact, the film bent over backward to be as reverential to the former president as they possibly could while still getting across the central theme of the movie.
But since adaher probably never bothered to see the film nor read anything about it other than, “lookee them lib’ruls wantin’ to kill the president,” I’m not going to throw him the bone of letting him know what the theme is.
