Here is a video from the Yale Climate Forum to show how, besides the billions saved in health costs, that the ones claiming that taking care of pollution does cause the number of jobs to decrease is telling a big lie. (The Climate Crocks guy was doing such a good job that he was contacted by Yale to work making videos for them)

Conservative groups completely ignore about how the EPA regulations, and climate agreements allow in reality for more jobs to remain and to be created while the regulations are enforced.

The thing is, those jobs are not in the OIL INDUSTRY, where those conservative groups get their money from.

So they don’t particularly care. When they post worries about “the economy”, they are actually only worried about oil company profits.

That kind of CRAP makes me wonder how soothing my soul would find it to learn of a bill being reported out of committee that requires Republicans to apply for permission to carry a pregnancy to term.

Even though I know many women are assaulted by men they already know, including date rape.

How the F&*? do you PROVE – like a rapist is going to come forward and say, “Yup, that baby’s mine!”.

It’s kinda like how you have to include a police report when filing an insurance claim, as documentation that the loss actually occurred.

Because in jurisdictions where abortion was only allowed in cases of rape or incest, I’m sure clinics were flooded with women who’d just gotten pregnant on an oops-forgot-the-condom moment, and were all “yep, I was raped. And incested. You betcha.” It was a big problem, but now this closes the loophole.

And if women are expected to name names, false rape accusations will go through the roof, and even if women can just say “it was rape” the rape statistics will go through the roof, which just fuels even more misandry.

Are they wanting it proved in a court of law? If so, that’s a nicely-written way to make all abortions illegal – it’s not like that kind of case breezes through the court system like greased goose shit.

So that the statement, “Increasing the minimum wage will hurt small businesses and kill jobs” becomes “Increasing the minimum wage will hurt my rich cronies and kill profits”

The talking points make a lot more sense this way.
