Stupid Republican idea of the day

Totally agree.

I think she wanted to sound more ominous and threatening. Or maybe she thinks a harsher (or Og forbid) lighter sentence will grease the wheels for a career advancement.

But…These are a Few of My Favorite Things!

Next on Fox: Obama signs controversial Whiskers On Kittens bill.

Next on Fox:
Obama bans doughnuts, sprinkles and whiskers on kittens, but hasn’t done a single thing about the influx of ‘brown’ paper packages showing up at the post office. BENGHAZI!

If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for veteran political thinker David Duke to weigh in on the Steve Scalise issue. At last he has! He confirms that Scalise spoke to his group and says he met with Scalise several times. Duke says he has met with lots of politicians of both parties, which I’m sure is true since he ran for office several times and was a state legislator for a time. Anyway, he can’t see what all the hubbub is about, and he says he doesn’t have a personal or political relationship with Scalise. But he seems oddly interested in defending Scalise, threatening that if the Republican leadership boots Scalise, he will release the names of every politician he has ties to. Oh please oh please oh please!

Pfft, amateur.
Around here we recently had a Secretary for Foreign Commerce who didn’t pay a cent in taxes (nor his utilities bill, nor rent…) over a period of… three or four years I think ? He said he had an “administrative phobia” - that he was literally scared and intimidated by all the forms. I am not making this up. And so naturally he simply had to use his political position to make them all go away somehow.

Now **that **takes some balls.
He got shitcanned from the government, but AFAIK he’s still député (that’d be congressman for y’alls)

In this case I’m pretty sure it had to do with payroll taxes, which is doubly reprehensible. Most courts are pretty harsh with people who fuck over their employees.

And on our local news the anchor just called him “the Staten Island Democrat” :smack:. Just a mistake, I believe, not the Faux Strategy. It did immediately follow a report On Sheldon Silver (D) being investigated. I’m not holding my breath waiting for a correction though…

There was just a shift change and the new anchor called him “the Republican”

Anyone want to bet that this story was planted by sprinkle manufacturers hoping for the same bump in sales that the ammo producers got when Obama was elected. If sprinkles are criminalized only criminals will have sprinkles.

The International Congress of Jimmies is demanding equal time and clarification of the nomenclature, or they’re going to counter-demonstrate on Sundae.

Why don’t they want a black James Bond? Three words-White Bond Girls.

Said their spokesperson, Russell.

To be fair, he can hardly be expected to know who he’s addressing when they all wear those hoods and sheets.

How does this affect the sprinkling of polite laughter?

They have to stand over there by the golf claps.

And if a titter runs through the crowd?

Let’s keep it clean here.

That sounds more like something ex mayor Michael Bloomberg in New York would do.
