I’m starting to investigate a possible cheese tour through upstate NY. The Finger Lakes region has an alliance with a cheese tour and there are some intriguing dairies. Does anybody have some good suggestions from personal experience? I tend to like aged cheeses like Cheddar or Gouda and fresh triple-cream (yeah, opposite ends of the spectrum). Since I’m coming from Boston I’d prefer to keep the tour limited to the eastern half of the state. My first stop will be at Four Fat Fowl.
