When moving threads, can I suggest noting that? Because in that thread, people were incorrectly thinking that when I said “technical questions and answers about the board”, I meant MPISMS because of the lack of thread movement notice when I meant the ATMB.
99% of the time they do. Occassionally a poor overworked mod will move a thread but forget, or not have time, to comment on the move. I wouldn’t sweat it.

Ordinarily the Mods. will indicate where a thread has been moved to, with a handy hyperlink to the newly-located thread. Sometimes they won’t bother, if the thread has few or no views and/or responses.
