Suggestions for witty sayings on retirement part cake

I’d like to get some suggestions for witty sayings to put on a cake for a retirement party. The person retiring worked in the tech field, although the saying doesn’t have to be related to that.

Anybody got any ideas / suggestions?

Thanks,
J.

Will there be hipsters present? If so, I recommend:
*
WITTY SAYING*

“Don’t let the door hit you on the way out”

One that made me laugh out loud when it finally clicked in my head, but which would require a certain type of audience to appreciate, was:

Next time, buy better tires.

404: Job Not Found
Why: You’re Retired.
Congratulations!

Career Powering Down
Cogratulations!

I like these, especially “404: Job Not Found.”

Keep 'em coming!

(Have the baker make a resistor out of icing at the top of the cake, then print:)

“Retiring is mandatory, resistance is futile.”

(Wow! That sucks!)

“So long Career, Welcome Diabetes”

“We’ve always hated you”

Have a picture of a hand, palm up, with a glowing crystal a la Logan’s Run “Time for Carrousel, Time to renew”

Show the entire cast off Cocoon flipping off the viewer “Off to Antarea you go”

oh here’s another…

Show a box of Soylent Green with the retiree’s picture on it like it was a wheaties box

BTW, I’ve just convinced myself to use this one myself for my Dad’s retirement party in April.

Along these lines I recently saw:

Congratulations. Now GTFO.

Oh, I like both of these, especially the 404 one!

“We’ve come to think of you as someone we used to work with.”

Have your cake, and beat it.

Yeah… not bad!

Thanks,
J.

no pressure
no stress
no heartache…
unless you play golf

goodbye tension, hello pension

add life to your days, and days to your life

“You’re dead to us”. But with that, put the happiest pictures on the cake. Get Princesses if you can. Make the writing pink. As cute and happy and loving as possible.

This had me laughing out loud!

How about what we say whenever our friends are departing after an evening of fun:

Aren’t you gone yet?
However, I agree, the 404 is the best idea so far.

Just a few minutes too late with this: When my cubemate took another job, I signed his card with “You ain’t gone yet?”

I retired 4 years ago, and if there was a cake, all it said was “Good luck” or something equally bland. The gifts that were inside jokes were much more fun!
