Supernatural 9/10 - It's Back!

When that baby monitor started crying, I got chills. This show is pretty darn good at being creepy and scary despite having to stay safe for TV.

I believe they mention this, and her response is that since Lucifer is back, all kinds of fun are possible. It’s a miracle!

I’m looking forward to next week where Cass and Dean team up as “FBI” agents. Those two work together.

No, the Meg demon was never killed.

She was exorcised and sent back to Hell in the first season finale, only to return in the second season episode ‘Born Under a Bad Sign’.

In that ep, she was possessing Sam and had locked herself in with some binding mark on Sam’s arm which Bobby burned off so they could exorcise her. Meg, as smoke, then fled up the chimney before they could do so.

Ah, I’d forgotten that. I knew she’d been exorcised, but I’d kind of assumed that since she was exorcised within a devil’s trap, she just kind of went “poof”.

Did anyone catch what username Wincest girl gave, and what message board she said she ran? I rewound it a couple of times but I couldn’t make it out. It was during the first scene we saw her, when she was conversing with author/prophet guy on the computer.

The website was morethanbrothers.net (HAHAHAHA), but I missed her username.

I think her username was samlicker81.

Heh I have no stake in this other than finding it all amusing. I too doubt the network would go all the way with it, but I was surprised it came up again, and the prophet guy is still around, so I could see some kind of fake out where they are ‘about to kiss’ in some contrived scenario and then don’t, or are replaced by images of whoever is possessing their body or some such, those are common tropes.

Best line of the night, by Chuck, after Dean kicks the angels out.
“This sucks ass.”
The delivery had me rolling.

Well, a lot of the fangirls are happy to read a wincestuous subtext into whatever possible, so it’s really not that necessary to go that far. I’m going to put this under a spoiler box for people who really, really don’t want to think about this. Popular episodes in that vein from last season were Sex and Violence, ie, the episode where a siren, who shapeshifts to become the person the victim wants the most, becomes a brother replacement when it goes after Dean, and It’s a Terrible Life, ie, the episode where Sam and Dean have amnesia and work in an office and yet are somehow still “attracted” to each other, to the extent that Dean actually thinks Sam is hitting on him. This episode, in particular, resulted in a massive amount of fanfic.

Where have I heard “Cram it with walnuts, ugly!” before?

So Jacob is Lucifer? Dude.

Simpsons diddit.

THANK YOU!!! I knew that guy looked familiar.

At least I know there are other SuperLostDexter fans out there. (You all know that Jacob/lucifer was also Rita’s ex on Dexter, right?) I’m a straight male but even I would squee if a certain blood splatter expert showed up on Supernatural somehow.

yeah - Lucifer goes to Miami to pay a visit - “fuck with me will ya?”

Mark Pellegrino was also in a (apparently terrible) movie in 2003 with Misha Collins called Moving Alan. I’m kind of wanting to get drunk and watch it, but it’s not really widely available. However, you can watch part of it on YouTube. Warning: your life will never be the same.
