So far this is pretty good.
Castiel has no tact at all, does he?

“Eat it, Twilight!”
Knew, knew, KNEW Sam was going to be Luci’s vessel.
Pretty good episode, all in all - I swear, this show gets crackier and more entertaining every week. Castiel’s scared “OMG, I’m about to get laid” face was great.
A couple of random thoughts…
Being an angel condom sucks.
So, Lucifer says he put Sam and Dean on that plane. I can buy that.* But why Dean too? And are we prepared to believe that he could have raised Castiel?
*Lucifer can’t go five minutes without mentioning he doesn’t lie. I wonder whether Kripke will honor that under the “he doesn’t need to” philosophy, or go with the “doth protest too much” angle.
I can’t believe that Dean hasn’t suggested yet that he’s heard God likes Skee-ball.
So now we know that Castiel is a far more interesting partner for Dean than Sam ever was.
Sam makes me crazy. I think it’s that think he does with his nose.
So, Lucifer DID find Sam? It sounded like he asked him where he was…perhaps I misheard.
I did roll my eyes a little at the “virgin” part. I agree Cas & Dean make a good team. And Sam is being kind of a git. (Why don’t girls ever insist to hear MY mysterious backstory?) He’s a terrible liar.
Stupid Baseball pushed it back to 11:30.
Didn’t Raph say that, not Luci? I took it as just a conjecture anyway, not fact yet.
He was able to find Sam in his dreams, he doesn’t know where Sam actually is physically. No angel, including Luci, is able to locate Sam or Dean, thanks to all those rib carvings, but apparently they still can be reached mentally.
I thought that was a Jedi mind trick thing. HE wasn’t really there. Sam was definitely Satan’s bitch.
OMG! I finally had a chance to watch it. (It’s hard when you’re as big a fangirl as I am and then you have to do RL stuff and miss your show.)
I am so very pleased. I was really concerned about the brothel scene, which I was spoiled for ages ago and was hoping Kripke was joking about because CAS in a BROTHEL seems like a BAD IDEA. But it was actually pretty amusing. Cas and Dean were pretty hilarious together. Speaking of which, have you guys seen the promo photos for 5.04? They are AWESOME.
The Sam v. the Hunters bit? Kind of weak. But they got their point across: Sam is still struggling with his nasty ass addiction, but he hasn’t given in.
The end is good. I am not terrifically surprised by this turn of events, but I am interested to see where the writers will take this. Kripke says that the season will be lighter than the last one, but with Sam and Dean each trying to avoid being taken over by angelic beings and Cas trying to find god, I have a hard time envisioning how that will happen.
I just watched it again, and TBG is correct – Lucifer never mentioned the plane. Raphael said Lucifer raised Cas, and he was just speculating because he believes God to be dead. The jury’s definitely still out on that one.
Raphael may have a point about Cas, but Sam was Lucifer’s vessel – Lucifer’s plan was for him to be there – it makes no sense for Lucifer to have put him on that plane.
Lucifer has an interesting definition of “lying.” Now, me, if I pretended to be someone’s dead wife or girlfriend, I’d consider myself to be lying to them while doing so, even if I did it by forcing my way into their dreams instead of their house. Apparently assuming someone else’s form to manipulate isn’t lying in Lucifer’s book.
BTW, the hunter who died was the guy who told Jayne Cobb his hat made him look like an idiot.
Okay, seriously, how could you ever notice that?
